EPC of Power Plants

40 MW CPP at ISMT Limited, Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Commissioned in Dec 2011

  • Our 40 MW CPP at Maharashtra is powered by a 170 tph AFBC boiler (89ata, 520 °C) designed for firing grade D and grade F Indian Coal.
  • Shell and Tube type water cooled condenser is installed for condensing the steam turbine generator exhaust.
  • 90 tph fuel handling system with single crusher and double screens to feeds coal to the boiler.
  • Water treatment plant with a DM capacity of 2x10m3/hr for Boiler makeup and a clarified water capacity 160 m3/hr for Cooling Tower makeup has been installed.
  • Dense phase ash handling system is installed to convey bed ash and fly ash from the AFBC Boiler and a five field ESP.
  • The installed RCC mechanical counter flow cooling tower consists of three cells and is suitable to cool 2400cmh of water (per cell) from 40°C to 32°C.
  • The complete power plant is controlled and monitored from a client server type DCS consisting of four (4) operating stations and one (1) engineering station.
  • The power generated at 11kV is stepped up to 132kV by a generator transformer of rating 40/50 MVA. Power is evacuated from a 132kV switchyard to the nearby Maharashtra state transmission company.

 

2×35 MW CPP at Kamachi Sponge Iron & Power Corporation Limited, Gummidipoondi

Unit 1 – Commissioned in Oct 2011 & Unit 2 – Commissioned in Jan 2012

  • One of the few power plants in India to be installed with a top exhaust Steam Turbine Generator with Air Cooled Condenser, bringing down the height of the TG Deck to 4.0m thereby bringing down the civil cost of the TG Building.
  • 2X110tph double stream coal handing system with primary and secondary crushers, screens for higher reliability suitable to feed both Indian and Indonesian Coal.
  • Pioneer in implementing Ethernet based on IEC 61850 Protocol for Control & Monitoring with all the HT Relays and Intelligent Electrical Devices (IED) interfaced with DCS through optical fibre.
  • One of the few Power Plants in India with all LT Feeders using intelligent MCC (i-MCC) and Interfaced with DCS on Profibus Protocol for Control & Monitoring.
  • 6 bay 230 kV switchyard including two (2) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 35 / 45 MVA, two (2) Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT) of rating 8 MVA, six (6) Distribution Transformers (DT) of rating 2 MVA & a 4km long 230kV double circuit transmission line.

 

1×12 MW CPP at Surendra Mining Industries Pvt. Ltd., Bonai, Orissa

Commissioned in Mar 2013

  • A DRI kiln waste heat recovery based 2×10 tph WHR Boiler & 1×40 tph AFBC Boiler under the license of Doosan Babcock with Water cooled condenser.
  • 1X40 tph single stream coal handing system with a crusher & screen for higher reliability suitable to feed Coal to the boiler.
  • Dense phase pneumatic ash handling system is being implemented.
  • Implementing DCS with Client – Server architecture having 3 Operating Stations and 1 Engineering Station.
  • 33 kV Switchgear including one (1) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 15 MVA and two (2) Distribution Transformers (DT) of rating 2.5 MVA.
  • Complete civil design, engineering and Civil Works which includes TG Building, Boiler Foundations, Ash Silo, Clarifier, Cooling Tower, WTP, MS Chimney and other foundations..

 

2×35 MW CPP at Tulsyan NEC Ltd., Gummidipoondi, Chennai

Unit 1 Commissioned in May 2013

Unit 2 Commissioned in June 2016

  • Bottom exhaust Steam turbine Generator with 8 module Air Cooled Condenser
  • We are providing our in-house 2x150tph CFBC Boiler under the ERK Licence for this 2x35MW Power Plant.
  • With 200tph throughput capacity, single stream coal handing system with primary and secondary crushers, screens for higher reliability suitable to feed both Indian and Indonesian Coal.
  • Implementing DCS with Client – Server architecture having 6 Operating Stations and 1 Engineering Station.
  • 8 bay 110 kV switchyard including two (2) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 40 / 50 MVA, two (2) Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT) of rating 7 MVA & eight (8) Distribution Transformers (DT) of rating 2 MVA

 

1×12 MW CPP at ITC Limited – PSPD, Tribeni, West Bengal

Commissioned in Dec – 2013

    • Accommodated the power plant in a very compact layout within the premises of the existing Paper Plant.
    • A 72 tph AFBC boiler under the license of Doosan Babcock currently being executed for the cogeneration power plant. 1x12MW STG Package with water cooled condenser.
    • Water treatment plant consisting MGF-ACF-UF-RO-DGT-SAC-SBA-MB delivering 30m 3/hr DM water for boiler makeup in each stream (2 Streams) and MGF-SOF delivering 40m3/hr for CT makeup.
    • 1X75 tph single stream coal handing system with primary and secondary crushers, screens for higher reliability suitable to feed Coal.
    • Dense phase ash handling system to be implemented.
    • 3.3 kV Switchgear including one (1) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 15 MVA and one (1) Distribution Transformers (DT) of rating 2.5 MVA.
    • 350m of Low Pressure & Medium Pressure Steam piping for process from the STG. State of the art DCS with around 2000 I/O’s.
    • Complete civil design, engineering are in-house. Civil works including over 300 Bored Cast In-Situ piles of 500 mm to 600 mm diameter with a shaft length of 24 m are currently under execution apart from TG Building, Boiler Foundations, Ash Silo, Clarifier, Cooling Tower, WTP, MS Chimney and other foundations.
    • RCC chimney of 67 m height is being built and eco-friendly fly ash bricks are utilised here for construction.

 

1×2.99 MW Power Project at One Eco Energy, South Korea

Commissioned in May 2016

  • Top Exhaust Steam Turbine along with 2 module Air Cooled Condenser (ACC).
  • Integrated PLC for operation and control for the Turbine & ACC package.

1×30 MW CPP at Sri Jagannath Steels & Power Limited, Barbil, Odisha

Under Execution

    • 1×30 MW Captive Power Plant which includes 37 TPH WHRB connected at the end of 350 TPD DRI Kiln, 53.3 TPH WHRB connected at the end of 500 TPD DRI Kiln and 1×45 TPH AFBC Boiler all collectively feeding steam to 1 No. Of Steam Turbine Generator.
    • 1 bay 132 kV switchyard  including One (1) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 37.5 MVA, One (1) Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT) of rating 5 MVA & Two (2) Service Transformers (ST) of rating 2.5 MVA.

 

1×30 MW CPP at Jeppiaar Power Corporation, Kancheepuram, TamilNadu

Under Execution

  • 1×135 TPH CFBC Boiler for a 1 x30 MW power plant.
  • Bottom exhaust bleed cum condensing steam turbine (STG) with 6 module Air Cooled Condenser (ACC).
  • 2 streams of MGF-RO-DG-MB for DM water make up requirement with 2 x 100 m3 DM tank.
  • Auxiliary Packages like A/C, ventilation, fire fighting system, EOT crane.
  • Belt conveying system for fuel handling. Pneumatic dense phase conveying system for bed ash and fly ash.
  • Complete civil design, engineering and civil works which includes TG building, Boiler foundations, Cooling tower, Water Treatment Plant, MS Chimney and other foundations including roads within the power plant area.
  • 3 bay 110 kV switchyard including One (1) Generator Transformers (GT) of rating 37.5 MVA, One (1) Unit Auxiliary Transformers (UAT) of rating 8 MVA & Three (3) Service Transformers (ST) of rating 2 MVA & One (1) Lightning Transformer (LT) of rating 0.25 MVA.

 

1×4 MW CPP at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Chandrapur, Maharashtra

Under Execution

  • 1×4 MW Captive Power Plant. 45 MVA Submerged Arc Furnace producing 35,000 tpa of SiMn and 37,500 tpa of HCFeMn feeding to 20TPH HRSG having steam outlet pressure and temperature of 44 ata and 440 oC
  • Steam Turbine Generator with Water Cooled Condenser having 4 MW output power.
  • 2 stream Water Treatment Plant with a capacity of 2.5 m3/hr (each) comprising of MGF-SAC-DG-SBA-MB meeting DM make up water requirement.
  • 3.3 kV Switchgear including one (1) Distribution Transformer (DT) of rating 2 MVA. DCS with client-server architecture.
  • Complete civil design, engineering and civil works which includes TG building, Boiler foundations, Cooling tower, Water Treatment Plant, MS Chimney and other foundations including approach roads.
